i teach violin, and it's awesome. especially the funny things my students say..
a month ago:
student: wait. you're not married??
me: wait. you thought i was married?? how come? because i'm old?
student: oh, well are you a young adult?... if so, then you're too young.
yesterday:
student: how old are you?
me: how old do you think i am?
student: 36? because that's how old my dad is... he was born in 1974.
me: so close.
remember when things like age and marriage didn't make sense?
lucky i have this friendly reminder..
