buzzed.

once again, i had a lovely day in london town. we had class this morning and it was great. we had presentations on jane austen's books for our english class, and we talked about the executive branch of government in politics. it was really interesting. especially since gordon brown has now resigned and nick clegg is talking with both the tories and the labour parties to form a coalition government. after class we went to the british museum as a center. we saw the elgin marbles, the rosetta stone, and SO much more. that museum has so much stuff its incredible! my favorite part was learning all about the parthenon temple of acropolis that was in athens. i feel so lucky to have these professors here with us who know so much and can teach us so much at all these sites. the other times i've been to london and visited some of these sites i haven't been able to get the insight that i am now able to from my professors so i'm loving it.

after the british museum visit katelin-jane and i went up to northern central london where emma lives and spent the night with her! it was so much fun. she is an absolute doll and we love hanging with her. tonight she took us to a turkish restaurant in Angel called Ottoman. it was quite good- interesting, i hadn't heard of about one thing on the menu, so we just had emma order for us and tried a bunch of stuff. afterwards we went and got dessert and it was absolutely amazing!! i know i talk about food more than anything on this blog, but come on.. you know you love it. so i got a chocolate dessert, BEST ever. i can't even tell you how much i loved it. i didn't want the night to end with emma because we were having so much fun, but we had to head back to the center so we could get packed for our venture to wales tomorrow! wish us luck.

[honestly, how do i not talk about food when it looks like this??!]
